Apple Accepts The Battery Problem in iOS 5

Soon after the launch of iPhone 4S, a few customers began to experience the worst battery life with their handsets. It was said that the battery life came to zero in spite of the minimal usage. Fortunately a few users have found the reason behind this problem. A fix for the battery problem is here.

But that doesn’t solve the entire problem. It was found that, the iOS 5 seems to have a bug in it. Apple said “A small number of customers have reported lower than expected battery life on iOS 5 devices. We have found a few bugs that are affecting battery life and we will release a software update to address those in a few weeks.” in a report to AllThingsD.

It is clear that the battery problem does not relate in any way to iPhone 4S hardware. Instead it is a problem with the software, that’s the iOS 5. A bug in the iOS 5 is causing this problem. The happy thing now is that, the problem is with iOS 5 and not with your handset’s hardware. Apple is now working on the problem to improve the battery life. Unfortunately, it will take a few weeks, a really long time, for Apple to clear this problem. When Apple updates a new software, your brand new iPhone will have a new, healthy life.
