Like each year, Google is bringing this all new contest for the fifth time. This year, Google is welcoming all those K-12 students living in U.S. to portray a nice sketch, which will in turn get featured as the doodle in the Google site. Google has started getting entries and it goes on till March 23, 2012.

With the title of the doodle being If I could travel in time, I’d visit…. you can sketch a beautiful doodle featuring your long lived, yet-to-be fulfilled wishes. You can go back in time and enjoy those peaceful memories you had. Or, if you want to enjoy more, go ahead and sketch a realistic imagination of your future. All is in your hands.

The prize is tagged at $30,000 college scholarship for the individual, while the school, the individual belongs, bags away a $50,000 for technology grant. As the prize tags seem really big and interesting, you must really enter this cool contest. For the first time ever, Google is joining hands with Crayola and also, the winner will get his/her artist featured in the upcoming version of Crayola’s limited edition package.

Also, Google is set to select a winner from each state. With a winner in each state, all the people over the U.S. get a great chance to cheer for their winner. With 50 state winners, Google is set to narrow down 5 national finalists and after which, one lucky winner will bag the title.

More details of this contest and participating is available in the official blog post. Participating becomes an easier task. You can easily enroll your sketch by March 20, along with a signed entry form. Also check out the Doodle 4 Google page for more information.
