The Gmail App for iOS devices is now back to the Apple Store. This new version of the app comes error free with all the bugs cleared.
It was just a few hours after launching the Gmail app for iOS devices, when Google kicked the app out of the Apple Store as it was found to have certain bugs in it. The bugs caused the iOS notifications center to crash, did not load the app and caused a lot of other problems.
“Two weeks ago, we introduced our Gmail app for iOS. Unfortunately it contained a bug which broke notifications and displayed an error message, so we removed it from the App Store. We’ve fixed the bug and notifications are now working, and the app is back in the App Store.” said Matthew Izatt from Google.
If this new version of the app runs successfully, this new move must certainly impress a lot of iOS users with iPad or iPhone or iPod Touch. This app brings the functionality of easy Gmail usage in iOS devices.
Now in this new version 1.0.2, Google did not bring any new features. Only the bug was found to be removed. Everything else was like that of the previous version. As known earlier, this Gmail app comes with a lot of features. Easy uploading of images, threaded conversations, push notifications are some of the noteworthy features of this app.
However awesome this Gmail app looks to be, there is one thing that this new app lacks. It does not support multiple accounts login. Google says, this feature will available in the next update.
So you want to download this new app? Head over to the Apple Store and download. Make sure to uninstall the previous version of the app before installing this new version. By the way drop in your comments after using the app.
