Google+ Now Has the Entire Indian Cricket Team [Viru Hangs Out]

Dhoni and his gang of men have started making good use of social networking so that, they can get connected with people round the world and have fun. After creating fan pages in Facebook, accounts in Twitter, the Indian cricket team has now come up with another great solution for social networking. It’s Google+ !

It’s now party time in Google+. All the players of the Indian cricket team now have their own Google+ accounts. Yeah, all those accounts sport the Verified symbol which Google+ officially provides to the celebrities.

A few days back, Virender Sehwag, popularly called as Viru, made a global record by smashing 219 runs in an ODI match against West Indies. According to the cricket world, Viru is the only person to score a double century next to Sachin Tendulkar, who earlier scored 200 against South Africa last year.

To celebrate this glorious moment, Viru considered having a pleasant talk with his fans round the world via Google+ hangouts. Unfortunately, this glorious moment has come to an end. The hangout took place yesterday at 2.30 pm IST. Well, do not give up your hopes. The cricketers are there online as always and there will of course be another great hangout party.

Here is the shared circle which sports all the 16 Indian cricketers with the official Google+ Verified symbol. Got a Google+ account? Make sure to check that link and add the cricketers to your circles. Also make sure to circle me.
