How To Shut Down Your PC In 3 Seconds

Shutting down a PC takes some time, especially when you have opened a lot of applications, You need to manually close all of them and heavy programs might really take a lot of time. Windows will even warn you that you might loose stuff that you haven’t saved yet.

But there are some times when you want to shut down your PC instantly (*wink*). But if you are going to be stopped from doing so, by some programs, that ask you to save and close stuff, then it would surely get into my nerves. So here is a trick for all those guys who want an immediate shut down solution.

Shut Down Your PC In 3 Seconds

1. Open Windows Task Manager (press Ctrl + Alt + Delete)

2. Click the ‘Shut Down‘ drop down Menu.

3. Then, Hold On Ctrl And Click Turn Off for about 3 Seconds.

4. Your PC will shut down instantly.

Don’t use this method too often, as it may lead to some lose of data and in some rare cases, you might end up corrupting your system files. But you can use it when you are in a hurry. I have tried it only with Windows XP, I am not sure about Vista and win 7, so it maynot work with it.

There is no particular reason why this happens, it might be a glitch are it might be actually programmed for that task. I wasn’t able to get more info on why this happens. So, I’ll update you if I could find any.

Hope you found it useful, do share it with your friends and let us know if you have any trouble doing this. Do let us know, if you find any other tricks to do the same task through the comments, so that we’ll share it with others too ! 😀
