With Price playing a much important role in developing countries like India. As the operating system is open source, the production cost for the companies are greatly reduced. So Every company is interested in creating their own Android Smartphone.
Intex is about to launch an Android mobile rated at Rs 5,500 or $120 and it is supposed to be released on the first week of February in Indian Markets. The phone is expected to have a 3.2 Megapixel camera, a 2.8-inch resistive touchscreen, Wi-Fi and GPS and will compete with the Micromax A60. Its advantage over the Micromax A60 is that it comes with Android 2.2 While the A60 Comes with Android 2.1
The Indian Smartphone market has been taken to new heights with the advent of low end smartphones which are affordable by even the lower middle class population of the nation. There were times when smart phones costs tens of thousands of bucks. But now the scenario is different. After its release, Intex’s Phone will be the cheapest Android phone in the world.
