Lately, Facebook introduced a new feature called “Subscribe button” with which you can follow people like you do on Twitter or Google Plus. You must likely be using Twitter to follow new people or using Google Plus to add new people to your circles. Now, Facebook released a similar option. Following people makes you get their latest updates delivered right to your News Feed. You can subscribe to people, even though you haven’t added him as a friend. This new update is being rolled out to every Facebook user now. The subscribe button isn’t available to everyone right now. Well, now let’s get on to the topic. Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Facebook, has now got almost 5M+ subscribers! With this new subscribe button launched only this Wednesday, how did Mark Zuckerberg get so many subscribers?
Earlier Mark Zuckerberg had his own Facebook fan page (http://www.facebook.com/markzuckerberg) and had as much as 5M+ likes. Now, this brilliant Zuckerberg, in order not to lose his likes, converted all his fan page likers to this personal account’s subscribers. His personal account is here (http://www.facebook.com/zuck) . As we can see in this screen shot below, right now he has as much as 5.2M+ subscribers. Also this screenshot shows that he has subscribed to 13 people who are his co-workers at facebook.
Now, if you are subscribed to him, all his updates in his personal account would now get delivered to your News Feed. Also, if you now go to his facebook fan page which he had earlier, it would redirect to his personal account. If you haven’t subscribed to Mark Zuckerberg, make sure that you subscribe to him by clicking on the “Subscribe” button at the top right.
