Nokia is gonna release its first Windows Phone. Its not a much surprise because it had many leaks earlier.
Nokia’s CEO Stephen Elop has announced the release of these two mobiles today morning at London. He considers these mobiles as “the real Windows Phone” and also as a rival for other windows phones like that of HTC and Samsung.
Lumia 800 the most awaited mobile (Sea Ray) has a complete Clear Black appearance. It looks similar to that N9 but people say that due to some reason N9 looks good when compared to that of Lumia 800. Its built of a single piece of polycarbonate which Elop considers as the best part of it. It has a 3.7″ screen with a resolution of 480 x 800. It has a 1.4GHz single core Snapdragon chip. It has a RAM of 512 MB along with an internal memory of 16GB.
Lumia 710 and Lumia 800 match with their processor, RAM, screen size and their internal memory. Lumia710 has switchable back covers which matches the color of the Windows phone itself.
These mobiles have, of course, Mango OS installed in them and they have a 25GB of SkyDrive cloud based storage. These mobiles have the capacity to run Microsoft Office applications in it and also Internet Explorer 9.
They have a Nokia Music tool pre installed in them which allows them to search for music online and download them to listen offline along with a Radio player. You can either download these music to your device or directly pin them to your home screen.
The Nokia Drive service makes it the only Windows Phone to offer voice-guided turn-by-turn navigation with maps which are downloadable. And also this Nokia Drive is absolutely free of cost.
Lumia 800 is available for pre-order from the Nokia store and it will be available officially on the market from November 16. It is expected to be around €420.
As for Lumia 710 it is expected to be available first on the continent of Asia and to have a price of €270.
